Our Board

Rick Lafleur joined our Board of Directors in 2012, became acting-chair in 2014, and was elected Chairperson in 2015.

Rick is a retired leader of the Ontario Provincial Police. He also has been active in many charitible and non-profit organizations such as:

• City Council
• Member of the Sensenbrenner Hospital
• Chairperson of the North Centennial Manor

Julie Simard joined our Board of Directors in 2016, and was elected secretary in 2018.

Julie is a registered Social Worker and an accredited Family Mediator. She operates a private practice through which she provides counselling and family mediation services. She also provides family court – connected family mediation, information and referral services to individuals in our communities who are experiencing separation/divorce.

Daniel Richards joined our board of directors in 2020.

Clarice Wilcox joined our Board of Directors in 2014, with the goal of further empowering people and to help provide a voice for the vulnerable.

Clarice is a bilingual Kapuskasing resident that has 10 years of experience working in Indigenous Community driven programs.   During her studies at University of Waterloo, her work revolved around issues of poverty where she became involved with social justice organizations such as:

• Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA),
• Canadian Council for Social Development (CCSD) and;
• Council of Canadians.

Guylaine Coulombe joined our Board of Directors in 2016.

She practiced law in the past and worked in the field of Human Resources for a number of years.  She now holds the position of CAO/Clerk for the Municipality of Mattice Val-Côté.

Stéphane Tremblay joined our Board of Directors in 2020.

Donna-Lise Lamothe joined our Board of Directors in 2020.
